Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education.
Perform and maintain proficiency in the technical and related work of the Blood Bank Laboratory. Perform pre-transfusion testing on patient/donor blood specimens and prepare blood components for transfusion per physician requests. Perform special studies with direction from senior technologists and/or Supervisory staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor`s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences; 2 years experience in Blood Bank; Must have NY State Clinical Laboratory License; ASCP preferred; Excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., (Tuesday and Friday)
